Welcome to Fuzion
Abergavenny's Home of Globally Inspired Dining
Fuzion is Abergavenny's only globally inspired restaurant, and we're proud of it. Tucked away on Frogmore Street in the heart of the town centre, we're a family-run kitchen serving small plates, sharing boards, and hearty mains that take your taste buds on a journey — from the sun-warmed coastlines of the Mediterranean to the bold, comforting flavours of Eastern Europe and the aromatic spice of Asia. Whether you're a local looking for somewhere a little different or a visitor exploring the beautiful Monmouthshire countryside and the Brecon Beacons, we'd love to welcome you.
A Menu Like Nowhere Else in South Wales
The food at Fuzion doesn't belong to one cuisine — and that's the whole point. Our menus are built around the idea that the best meals bring people together over shared plates and shared conversation. Order a few small plates between you and let them come as they're ready, unhurried and unpretentious. Or settle in for a hearty main: a melt-in-the-mouth steak, a richly spiced curry, or the kind of handmade pasta that reminds you why simple food, done properly, is always the best food.
Highlights from our kitchen include Polish pierogi dumplings, butter chicken curry, chicken livers on toast, and our legendary wild garlic butter — so good that guests have been known to ask for a pot to take home. Our sharing boards are designed to be the centrepiece of the table, and our daily specials let us follow the seasons and serve whatever's freshest from our local suppliers. Whatever you order, expect food that is full of flavour, beautifully presented, and made with genuine care.
We cater for a wide range of dietary needs — gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options are always available, and our team are happy to accommodate allergies. Just let us know when you book.

The Family Behind the Food
OUR CULINARY JOURNEY
Fuzion was born from a genuine passion for cooking and community. Head Chef Max is Italian-born and has been cooking in Abergavenny since 2014, bringing a love of bold Mediterranean flavours and refined comfort food to every dish. Alongside him in the kitchen is Lorella, who hails from Italy's Marche region and whose handmade pasta and instinctive understanding of seasonal produce have already made her a favourite among our regulars. Lorella has even demonstrated her craft at the Abergavenny Food Festival — Monmouthshire's celebrated annual food event — a moment she counts among her proudest.

A Beer Garden in the Centre of Abergavenny
When the weather allows, our outdoor beer garden is one of Abergavenny's great dining secrets. A relaxed and welcoming space right in the town centre, it's perfect for a leisurely lunch in the sun, a relaxed early dinner, or a drink after exploring the local market, the castle grounds, or the surrounding hills. Guests with dogs are very welcome outside too.

Come and Find Us
We're open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday for lunch and dinner, and all day on Saturday and Sunday. We're right in the centre of Abergavenny — just minutes on foot from the train station, the market hall, and the castle — making us an easy and rewarding stop whether you're passing through or staying a while.
